There Is A Season For Everything

I find myself back in front of my computer during this immensely challenging time for people around the world. As the world is battling the COVID-19, I like many others am quarantined at home with some excess energy and brain power to channel productivity. My hope is that all of you who read this are in fact safe and sound surrounded by the people you love.

I began this site back in 2014 as a way for myself (then an undergraduate) to learn more about the watch industry but also to review watches that were way outside of my league (read - price point).

Fast-forward to the present, I have graduated college, started my professional career and evolved my taste in watches. It came as a major surprise to me that I hadn’t touched this passion project of mine since 2016. Over the past few years I haven’t had the time to devote to producing the kind of content I would proud of. The introduction of video content, the gradual decline of crowdfunded watch projects as well as the immeasurable success of Hodinkee (the gold standard), made me doubt that I had a voice worth sharing in this industry. Despite this long hiatus, I realize that going back to where it all started - a deeply personal connection to watches, the people who make them as well as those who care about them, is the only way that I can take the next step forward.
